What Are The Requirements For Signing A Lasting Power Of Attorney?

Lasting Power of Attorney documents must be signed in the following order:

1. The donor must sign the document before anyone else. If it concerns health and care decisions, they first sign in section 5 and then in section 9.
2. The witness must sign straight after the donor each time.
3. The certificate provider signs the document in section 10.
4. All the attorneys and replacement attorneys sign the document in section 11.
5. The witness must sign straight afterwards each time.
